Galería Mascota is pleased to host Villa Magdalena during Mexico City Art Week 2023, beginning on February 8th through February 12th.

“Lucy Mullican: Veils” is a selection of recent paintings by New York-based artist Lucy Mullican (New York City, 1994), which will be on view starting on February 7 until February 28th, 2023.

Mullican’s new body of work extends her vocabulary of invented anthropomorphic landscapes into a ghostly realm. Translucent spaces rendered in watercolor are subject to an intervening presence, an unknown entity that takes on different forms.
